I really don't have much to say about Avengers: the Enemy Within #1 except that it doesn't excite me. Most comics I read and review are high raters but this title falls short for me. I am a big Avengers fan, so I decided to give it a read but I would have rather said no. I truly apologize for all my followers who are Captain/Ms. Marvel fans but I cannot say that I liked it because I didn't. The writing is ok and the artwork is done in a style I can do without. I am just one reviewer out of thousands on the net so I may be the minority in thinking that this issue should have been shelved. I give this issue a rating of 3 out of 10, and in my opinion that's being nice.

A + X #7 Comic Review
What can I say? I love these little gems from the Marvel Now series known as the A + X titles. You don't even have to follow all the Avengers or X-titles to follow along because the stories are that damn good. It has been a while since I have reviewed an issue of A+X, but I felt this issue was worth talking about.
What made this issue stand out you ask? The first story made it stand out. I title this story, Banner is the Smartest. Why you ask? It's simple, he is. Let me explain why. This issue starts with Tony Stark and Hank McCoy working together to find some sort of Hulk neutralizer in case Banner cannot be controlled. Right now Banner seems to have his act together, but they are simply afraid that history will repeat itself.
Anyway, to make a long story short, they are working on a new Hulk buster armor that S.H.I.E.L.D. managed to get its hands on and they have been having McCoy look at it. Well, Hank was puzzled and he requested the help of Stark since it follows his plans and designs. Well, when Tony got his hands on it, he uploaded a virus that caused the suit to become alive and nearly killed the both of them as well as their lab crew.
What stopped them from dying? The best Hulk smash panel I have seen in recent history that's what. When the Hulk reverted to his Banner form, he removed a jump drive that was connected to the armor. You see, Banner planted this armor as well as the virus to prove once and for all that Banner is the smartest.
Here is the panel I was telling you about. Sick right?"
This issue also has a pretty good Thor and Ice Man story but what made this issue for me was the Hulk getting the best of the Beast and Iron Man. It is definitely worth buying or downloading this issue. I give this book a perfect 10 out of 10 rating for this story alone. Good job Zeb Wells, what a way to write!
Age of Ultron Book Seven Comic Review
My last review for the Age of Ultron series was over at my other gig, www.somewhatnerdy.com, feel free to check them out, and it was about books 3-6. Well, as we left off in issue six Wolverine did what no one wanted to do. He went in the past and killed Hank Pym. What does this mean for our heroes? Well, we got a good slap in the face when we read the first pages of Book 7.
It turns out by Wolverine killing Pym in the past, he altered the future a little too much. It seems that the Avengers were unable to stop the Kree and Skrull war which ended up having a very different outcome for Earth.
That isn't the only thing that changed. As you can tell from the cover image from book seven, the looks of our heroes has changed as well. In fact, some heroes are not even the original players from the universe we know and love.
Just exactly has Wolverine done? We will find out when Book Eight is released. Hell, it is probably already out and I just haven't gotten mine yet. I guess I need to drag my butt to the store and get my copy, LoL.
Seriously, the writing of Bendis has just been Marvelous and I applaud his creative genius. I give this issue a strong rating of 8 out of 10.

Thanos Rising #1 : A Mini Comic Review
Thanos is a character that has always fascinated me. To be so powerful and to take on all heroes without assistance was astonishing to me. Growing up I was never really into the Silver Surfer titles, but if I saw my boy Thanos was going to be in it, I made sure to buy that issue. I just love the raw power and indestructibility that is Thanos. So, when I heard Marvel was releasing a new mini-series focused around Thanos, you know I went into total NERDom!
Thanos Rising is brought to us by the creative team of Jason Aaron and Simone Bianchi and published by Marvel Comics. What I love about issue #1 is that we learn about Thanos from the time he was born until the time he develops a thirst for death as a child on Titan. Thanos did not ask to be the monster he has become, but he was made that way by several factors in his life.
I am not going to give too many details about the book because I want you to read it and enjoy it for yourself. I will however give issue #1 a perfect 10 out 0f 10 rating. After you read it, you will feel the same. All I can say is, bring on issue #2.
