Injustice - gods among us

I finally got around to downloading Injustice gods among us on my Kindle Fire HD and I have to say I am impressed.  The game play as well as graphics are very good and I am having a blast playing it.  Sure it is a different playing style than most of your consoles, but the game still kicks ass no matter what format.  :)

Savage Wolverine #7: Comic Review

Greetings my fellow comic fans,

This is just a mini-comic review for a book that should be talked about.  The Savage Wolverine title from the Marvel Now movement has been nothing but total nonstop action!  This is by far one of the books I look forward to reading from Marvel.

Issue #7  has Wolverine teaming with Elektra to stop the body of Bullseye from being reanimated by the Hand.  So needless to say there are a lot of dead ninjas in the city of New York at the hands of Wolverine.  I do not want to give too much away because I want you to read this book.

I give this issue a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.  Get your copy today.

Daredevil: Dark Nights #1

Daredevil; Dark Knights is a collection of stories about Daredevil that we have not seen or heard yet. The first storyline is called Angels Unaware and issue #1 is titled Whiteout.  It is written and drawn by Lee Weeks and colored by Lee Loughridge.  I know this series is only supposed to be an eight issue run, but if all the writing is as good as this first issue, I would hope they make more than eight.

Issue #1 starts with Daredevil passed out in the snow, hence the title "Whiteout".  Anyway, the next pages tells us how Matt ended up face-up in the snow. It turns out that Matt was found unconscious in the snow and was brought to a hospital.  There we realize he has amnesia and doesn't know who he is.

While he is sedated, a nurse on duty is determined to find out who he is and recruits another nurse to open the briefcase that was by his body.  What they find next shocks them.  They now know that their John Doe is none other than the Daredevil.  At this moment, Matt awakens and remembers why he was there.  What was Daredevil doing out in a blizzard?  Well, true believers, you need to get the issue to figure that out.

I give this issue a perfect rating of 10 out of 10.  Until next time, Happy Reading!

Avengers Vol.1 #96

Age of Ultron Book Nine (A Mini Review)

Book Nine of the Age of Ultron was released last week and we witnessed the end of the world.  It turns out that Wolverine killing Pym wasn't exactly a good thing.  So, Wolverine goes back in the past to stop himself from killing Pym and convincing Pym to build a fall safe in Ultron so that Ultron never takes control of the world.

With the plan set in action, Wolverine is then forced to kill himself so that only one Wolverine travels to the future with Sue Storm to avoid any further damage to the timeline.  Did Wolverine's new plan work?  Well I guess we will just have to wait and see in Book Ten.

I give this issue a rating of 8 out of 10.  It could have had more meat to the story.  Since it didn't my mind is wondering what's going to happen after certain events took place in this issue.  When you read it, you will see what I am talking about.
